You can now bet on the question that has dominated the buildup to Sunday night’s second-round NCAA tournament game between Duke and UCF.
Will Zion Williamson be able to dunk on 7-foot-6 Tacko Fall?
If you bet $100 that Williamson will dunk on Fall?at BetOnline.ag, you would win $210 if he manages to do it. The odds are slightly more favorable?at Bookmaker.eu, where a $100 bet would pay $300 if Williamson posterizes Fall.
It’s no surprise the matchup between Williamson and Fall has drawn so much attention given the players involved.
Williamson is college basketball’s most dynamic player, a dunking sensation who had nearly 2 million Instagram followers before he graduated high school. Fall is the tallest player in college basketball, a curiosity who shoots 75 percent from the field and blocks 2.6 shots per game.
When Fall was first asked about the possibility of Williamson dunking on him on Friday night,?he told NCAA.com’s Andy Katz, “I won’t allow him to put me on one of his highlight tapes.”
Williamson took no issue with that when informed of Fall’s comments on Saturday.
“What is he supposed to say?” the Duke star asked. “Is he supposed to say like I'm going to dunk on him? He said the right thing, but I'm not really focused on that. I'm just focused on trying to help my team win the game.”
Ultimately, Fall would prefer the focus be on UCF versus Duke instead of him versus Zion, but he’s also realistic enough to understand that’s unlikely.
“Obviously, it's very exciting,” he said. “You got a guy who's 7-6. You got a guy who's a freak athlete, very talented. But at the end of the day, it's a ball game. It's basketball. We can't make it bigger than what it really is. I don't want it to be like a freak show between Zion and I. It's bigger than that. It's UCF versus Duke.”
