    By now you've likely seen the ugly video of Conor McGregor punching an old man at a pub in Dublin, an incident that happened in April but only came out in the news just recently when TMZ got the video.

    Now we know how McGregor feels about that awful moment, as the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion sat down Thursday for an extended interview with ESPN's Ariel Helwani which will air later tonight on ESPN2.

    McGregor seemed to be very apologetic about what happened in the pub, saying: "I was in the wrong. That man deserved to enjoy his time in the pub without having it end the way it did."
